Hello, I read most of the stuff on your website and was just wondering, i was 35 and over and i was caught by a roadside camera or radar sorry i dont know the terminology and thats 6 demerits apparently and im under the impression that red P-platers only get 5, how long does this mean i will lose my licence for if i lose all my demerits, and also can i lose it for longer because the car i was driving was supercharged or does that not get taken into account because it was a camera? As P-platers are not allowed to drive supercharged cars I'm sorry if i havent given enough detail im very new to driving and cameras and all that but i wont be able to contest it in court because i dont have enough money to pay for a lawyer! so i was just wanting to know how long im gonna get for 6 demerits and if i can get longer because of the car i was driving.
Thanks for your time!!!

Get a lawyer to help you lower it to 34km/h or under so you only get 1 month of the road for that infrigement only.
Now for copping it on Red-P Plates i forgot if its an option letter or an immediate suspension.

It is obvious from your post you have not read the demerit points page on my website. Doing that will enlighten you.
Camera offences are ownership offences, not driving offences, so who was driving the car is actually irrelevant.
Cameras fines can be issued for speeding, red light, tollway and unreg offences only, which are all ownership offences. For other offences they need to know who was driving, and camera fines do not require the driver to be identified.
You won't lose any points. You will accrue 6 points, which adds 3 month to the mandatory 6 months off the road.
