given the offence happened after 1/1/11 it is possible that you will get a preliminary brief only....depends....that will give you even less info than a witness statement...

defend yourself? given your vast knowledge of police procedure and the legal system, you are pretty much handing the police the case on a large gilded platter

your comment "I don't care how much I could save or it will cost me" makes no sense whatsoever......if that were the case, you would stop procrastinating on this forum and would have already booked a conference with sean

i recieved a call from the officer who gave me the infringement notice and he kept asking me if i really wanted to go to court.
is that allowed/legal ?

Hmmmm interesting I was booked by Mr Plod years ago, I was going down a hill and Mr Plod was going up the hill, the site being Canterbury Road, Montrose.
Mr Plod turned around and accused me of speeding, result fine and loss of 2 demit points, He wasn't stationary..........

Years ago?? You mean decades ago lol.(If we're talking about vic) I don't think there has been 2 point speeding offences for about 10 years nearly.
