To add to this, I have been flashed many times (too many times to remember anyway) in past year by Red Lights Cameras when the lights have been green and I have been travelling at under the posted speed limit and there have been no other cars on or entering the intersection either.

Wouldn't faulty red light cameras be in the favour of motorists?
I can't see how faulty red light cameras incorrectly ping anyone since all you need is to look at the photos.

Nope.
There is one camera over here that will flash if more bus goes through the white B light at time, even though the B light is still on.
