Reversing

I was revesing from where I was parked & yes I made all the safety checks prior to doing so and it was safe at the time for me to revese, when I hit a car that drove behind me while reversing. Am I really at fault as I took all the precurions I could & someone else was been erractic?

When you are reversing you are at fault unless you can satisfy a court someone else caused the accident, whihc is going to be hard for you.
